Lance Davis military veteran chiropractor

I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Michigan. Throughout my high school years, I stayed engaged playing soccer and basketball. Upon graduating, I found myself at a crossroads. I, like many, was uncertain about my post-high school plans. With a desire to pursue a career involving hands-on work. I considered options such as becoming a massage therapist or physical therapist. Still undecided after graduation, I made the decision to enlist in the military. I spent a transformative five years that played a crucial role in shaping the person I am today.

During the later part of my military service, I encountered a significant obstacle. I dealt with persistent and debilitating hip and low back pain. Despite undergoing a series of conventional treatments including painkillers, physical therapy, X-rays, and MRI scans. my condition showed no signs of improvement. Faced with the prospect of something that I didn’t want to do, exploratory surgery. At that point I chose to look at alternative treatments to my issue.

It was during this challenging period that my brother recommended a different approach. He suggested consulting a chiropractor, whom he trusted. With nothing to lose, I visited the chiropractor. To my amazement, within 30 minutes, I experienced a significant reduction in pain. What struck me even more was the chiropractor’s ability to explain what was causing my pain. This transformative encounter occurred as I approached the conclusion of my military contract. This led me to reconsider chiropractic care as an option in my post-military career aspirations.

Looking back, I realize that my personal experiences with many injuries over the years allow me to closely relate to the struggles my patients face. There’s a good chance that I have dealt with something very similar to what many of my patients are currently dealing with. Today I find joy in spending quality time with my wife. I also enjoy various activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, climbing, DJing, and reading. I identify as a “weekend warrior” who remains committed to staying active. As I continue to age, I am aware of the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle, having fun, and prioritizing the care of my body.
